Africa Youth Leadership Forum (AYLF) Tanzania is a network of young leaders who want to stay connected to each other throughout their lives; So that they can inspire and support one another to maximize their own potentials and, collectively make a contribution toward a better world in their generation. We call AYLF a “Family of Friends”. The Africa Youth Leadership Forum chapters are in more than 120 University chapters throughout 7 countries in East Africa. AYLF operates as a Student Leadership Movement and Young Professional Network. It is owned and advanced by the members on the various campuses/region where it is established.

Our major Aim is to “Nurture a new breed of leaders in Africa” who will transform the leadership culture in the communities they live in. AYLF Tanzania Chapter operates in zones which are Northern Zone which covers (Kilimanjaro and Arusha), Coastal zone (Dar es Salaam and Morogoro), Central zone (Dodoma and Singida), Southern zone (Mbeya and Iringa) and Lake Zone (Mwanza and Kigoma).

The purpose of the National Prayer Breakfast (NPB) is: to give our nations that spiritual strength that is available to those who ask for it, to renew and strengthen those bonds of brotherhood with the faithful across our continent and around the world, and to give us the opportunity to ask God’s guidance as well as express our gratitude for that which He has given us.

To be a movement of friends and nurture a new breed of leaders in Africa, based on the leadership qualities, values, and principles of Jesus of Nazareth as exemplified by leaders like Mwalimu Julius Nyerere, Edward Moringe Sokoine, Dr. John Pombe Magufuli, Mahatma Gandhi, Nelson Mandela, Martin Luther King Jr., William Wilberforce, Kwame Nkrumah, Bibi Titi Mohamed, Wangari Maathai and others of their kind.
